HANGING MUM'S MARRIAGE WOE

Rows before she snapped, say pals

A MARRIAGE rift was yesterday blamed for a mum hanging herself and her two young sons.
Musammat Mumtahana, 22, is understood to have had a series of rows with husband Shuhel Miah, 26.
A friend of the couple said last night: "She was not getting along with him and that depressed her.
"Musammat spoke little English and was in an alien environment without family of her own to help her out of the black mood.
"It seems she sank deeper into depression until finally she snapped with the most awful consequences." The mum left no suicide note before hanging her sons Raheem, two, and Nahim, 12 months, then killing herself at the couple's flat in Handsworth, Birmingham.
Last night Shuhel said "My wife was the most beautiful gentle person and my two beautiful sons were my pride and joy who had their whole lives to live for. Sadly this is now not to be. As anyone with children can imagine I am finding the loss impossible to comprehend.
Musammat was Bangladeshi-born like her husband, who has been in the UK for ten years. But it is understood she only came to Britain shortly before they wed.
Shuhel speaks good English and works long hours. By contrast Musammat spent much time with the boys.
Horrified Shuhel found the three bodies strung up when he returned from work on Wednesday night
The couple moved into their  75.000 flat - part of an Edwardian semi - only six months ago.
