Choose your company Just as positive events,
situations and people can have an uplifting positive ‘healthy’ influence on our lives: Negative events, situations
and people can have a negative ‘unhealthy’ one. The
likelihood is that we all know a professional victim, a drama queen, a constant talker, a full-time complainer, who can only
ridicule, sneer and pour scorn upon anything or anyone positive. And of course, the blamer – Any and all of the above
can seriously drain us emotionally. We
need to learn to set boundaries, Listen for awhile, then break off the interchange. People are so afraid to do this. They
don't want to seem impolite. We need to be firm, though kind. |
