- It is said that one-in-four of us know of someone who has committed suicide.
- At some point in time, each suicide victim belonged to a family.
- This being so, suicide is an issue which potentially threatens every family regardless of
race, profession or culture.
- Accordingly, suicide is clearly a potential threat to every "family" and as such, needs
to be tackled. Ideally within the family.
The umbrella name for this venture is DASI
There are a large number of suicide prevention websites that approach the whole subject through cold clinical
objectivity.
Doubtless these "objective" resources are the results of much painstaking analysis, research and formulation
by experts, and are excellent as far as objectivity goes.
Unfortunately, suicide is not objective, suicide IS subjective.
DASI views suicide subjectively, and unashamedly do so on behalf of any or all of us going through crises which
could degenerate into a suicidal crisis.

Who is DASI intended for?
ALL OF US!!!
Anyone undergoing a suicidal crisis.
Why EMOTIONAL FIRST AID ?
Physical injuries, wounds and scars can be extremely painful, but they are visible, and so treatable.
Mental and emotional wounds and scars can be far worse because they are not always obvious.
